What is Italian for Pipe-Cleaner...?

When I was little, my grandma used to call me a "Speelabeep" (don't know how to spell it) all the time. She was Italian and said it meant "pipe-cleaner" and called me it because I was skinny like the little things they use to clean pipes. I looked it up and I can only find, "scovolino [per pipa]" as the Italian translation. Does anyone know the proper spelling or meaning of "Speelabeep?" (speal-lah-beep)
