what do cops to with confiscated drug paraphernalia? ie glass pipes?

say you get pulled over and have a one hitter or glass pipe.. bong whatever in the car.. what do cops do after they steal your shit from you? throw it out? recycle the glass? resell the pipes at auction? WHAT cus we need to know

2. Varies depending on jurisdiction, I would say that once it has been used as evidence in legal proceedings (if any occur) then any items deemed illegal would be destroyed. If drug paraphernalia is illegal in your state or territory then it cannot be re-circulated so the logical outcome is disposal. probably in a crusher or incinerator.

4. Depends on the policy and procedures of the jurisdiction you are in. Generally, paraphernalia and illegal drugs are destroyed. However, if your pot pipe is unusual, it might wind up in a drug paraphernalia display. My old department had an unofficial museum of odd, and some even very artistic pot pipes.
5. Call it what ever you want to dumbass but when the police take your dope pipe from your car it is legal for them to do so. The dope pipe is well known to be used for smoking marijuana dope. So stop your crying punk and next time use some common sense and don't carry it in your car.
6. They have nothing to gain by recycling it. They will either use it, give it away, sell it, or plant it on someone.
